CFBT—formerly Copier Fax Business Technologies—is a leading office technology provider serving Buffalo, Rochester, and clients worldwide with a full suite of IT and software services.
Founded in 1990 by Andrea and Al Scibetta as a Konica Minolta dealer, CFBT has grown to over 40 employees with offices in Tonawanda and Rochester, New York. In 1997, David Scibetta joined the company to lead a major expansion into advanced technology services, transforming CFBT into the full-service tech partner it is today.
CFBT prides itself on delivering exceptional customer experiences, with many of its original clients still on board more than 30 years later. That commitment has earned CFBT numerous accolades, including Konica Minolta’s Dealer Award of Excellence for leadership in customer service, social responsibility, and community engagement. They have also earned Pro-Tech service certification for 14 consecutive years—making them the only company within 150 miles of Buffalo and Rochester to achieve this distinction.

CFBT’s strong local presence is also reflected in its sports partnerships. In 2014, they became the Official Technology Company of the Buffalo Sabres, extending their reach to the Rochester Americans’ offices and arena. In 2023, they partnered with the University at Buffalo Bulls, and in 2024, completed the WNY sports trifecta as the Official Office Technology Company of the Buffalo Bills.

COVID-19 Leadership and Community Engagement Award
CFBT was recognized by the Tonawanda Chamber of Commerce for our demonstration of an exemplary level of leadership and community engagement during the COVID-19 pandemic. This recognition includes assistance with the needs of the community and servicing the needs of customers and employees. CFBT was awarded based on the Documentelligence package, which catered specifically to helping businesses open safely, within CDC and NYS Guidelines, integrating advanced office technology to help make this happen.
Silver Seal Awards
In order to provide excellent service, CFBT believes in having the best team in the business. All of our service department members attend the Konica Minolta’s Technical Training programs, and over the years, our team has proudly accumulated over 30 Silver Seal awards throughout our company history. The Silver Seal is granted for excellence in their training, and is only awarded to the top 6-15% of Konica Minolta technicians in the entire country.
This Week in Imaging’s Elite Dealer Award (2011-2024)
Presented by The Week in Imaging and ENX Magazine, this award is granted to independent dealers who have made remarkable strides in their field. The implementation of Documentelligence, the partnership with the Buffalo Sabres, and the long-standing commitment to providing outstanding customer service have all contributed to the honor equally.

The Dealer of Excellence Award is awarded to a Konica Minolta Dealers based on leadership, integrity and community service. This award is only granted to one Konica Minolta dealer from the United States each year, and is awarded at the annual Konica Minolta Dealer Business Conference.

This recognition is awarded to the top-performing DocuWare dealers in the country. CFBT was been previously ranked as the top-performing DocuWare dealer in New York State, and seventh in all of North America. They also consistently ranked globally as one of the top performers.
